Keep Away Winter Sickness in Style
My family has been dabbling in essential oils for a year or two now, and while I’m no expert, there are a few I swear by! I love being able to cut down on the medicine a bit and use more natural options when it’s possible.
I know many of you are essential oil users too, and that is actually why we launched our Essential Oil Bag back in 2017. It was a top customer request for a long time, and I’m so excited we’ve been able to meet that need!
If you are new to essential oils or have never started, consider this your Essential Oil 101 blog post! My recommendation is to just get a few basics and see what you think. I know it can be overwhelming, but just start small! In our essential oil bag we always include a list of some of our favorites, and here are my personal go-to’s:
- Frankincense (A little secret: I put this on my face in the morning to help with age spots!)
And here are some blends that are great for this cold season:
- Keep Away Germs: Lemon, Ginger, Frankincense, Orange
- Immune Boost: Thieves, or Peppermint, Frankincense, and Oregano
- Sore Throat: Rosemary, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Cinnamon
- Congestion: Peppermint, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree
- Warming the Heart: Orange, Nutmeg, Clove
Beyond medicinal purposes, the options are endless for what you can do with essential oils! You can diffuse them simply to enhance the ambiance of your home. A small amount goes a long way for perfume or a calming bath, and there are even some cooking recipes you can use them in! It’s great to start small and let the creativity grow from there.
Our Essential Oil Bag really is a must for oil users. It has a wristlet design with 10 elastic loops that fit both 15ml and 5ml bottles. Who wants a bunch of little bottles floating around your purse?? The Polly is also great if you only have a couple bottles you want to bring with you. I also recommend the Kinley Cube for travel, and the Essential Oil Bag can fit right inside. We have a lot of ready-to-ship options on our website, and you can also design your own!
I hope you keep warm, healthy, and organized in these cold days of winter — all in confident style!
