1. Spray with scotch guard (protects fabric color and shape). Scotchgard can be found in most retail stores in the craft/fabric aisle, in the laundry detergent aisle or you can purchase here on Amazon.
2. To wash, place your items in a pillow case, seal with a rubber band, and wash on the gentle cycle with a splash of detergent and cold water. We recommend washing only 1-2 times per year. To spot treat stains, we recommend using a solution of 1 part Dawn Dish Soap (the classic blue kind) to 2 parts Hydrogen Peroxide. Do NOT scrub heavily or use a brush, as that may damage fabric fibers or cause colors to fade. We recommend using a Shout Color Catcher when washing items with a red zipper, especially when paired with a lighter fabric.
3. Air dry items & re-spray with Scotchgard.

* Tweed and Cowhide fabrics

should NOT be sprayed with Scotchgard and dry-cleaned only please! You can also spot clean with a damp cloth and air dry.

* Waxed Canvas fabrics

are specially treated and should not be sprayed with Scotchgard or washed in a machine. If dirty, wipe with a damp cloth and air dry.
